Moving to Argument---

Journal-  Recall a time when you convinced someone to agree with you.  How did you get them to agree?

Intro of next assignment-  It's an argumentative essay! 


Groups and possible plans-

We've planned essays in class before- Following how we've done it in the past,

1. Invent an idea for an argument essay about something from On Course. 

2.  Create a possible thesis you might use.

3.  Plan out the essay using an outline form, as we did previously.

4.  Find at least one direct quote per BP from On Course that supports your thesis.

5.  Present to the class by writing them on the board for review.

6.  Exit:  Which idea should we choose?
